Awful Archive uses third-party services for advertising, audience measurement, and optional newsletter subscriptions. Those providers may process technical information when you visit the site or choose to subscribe.

Advertising

The site is applying to use Google AdSense. Where advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, limit, personalize, and measure advertisements, subject to your consent choices and applicable law. Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page views, referral sources, and how readers interact with the archive. Google Analytics optional storage is denied by default and enabled only when you accept it. You can change your decision at any time using “Cookie choices” in the footer.

The production site may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and browser performance metrics. Cloudflare describes this analytics product as privacy-first and says it does not use visitor cookies.

Newsletter subscriptions are handled by Kit (formerly ConvertKit). If you subscribe, Kit processes the information you submit so the newsletter can be delivered. Subscribing is optional and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
